Graham modeled a floral headscarf, a matching off-the-shoulder sundress, heeled sandals and dark sunglasses at Michael Kors’ spring 2018 show Wednesday, joining fellow supermodels Joan Smalls and Gigi and Bella Hadid on the show‘s runway.
Watching from the front row was a diverse lineup of stars, including Catherine Zeta-Jones and her daughter Carys Zeta Douglas, Nicole Kidman, Judith Light, Iman, Rose Byrne, Cynthia Erivo and one of this season’s most popular NYFW guests, Tiffany Haddish.
Speaking to Fashion Week Daily this week about her status as one of fashion‘s most visible advocates of body positivity, Graham railed against being called “brave” for posting in a bikini, claiming it’s her least favorite interview question.
“I’m so excited that (plus-size women are) finally getting a seat at the table, but it’s exhausting to have to always talk about how ‘brave’ you are for getting into a bikini because your cellulite is hanging out,” she said. “The worst question I get asked all the time is, ‘How did you find the confidence to get into that bikini and get photographed and not get your cellulite retouched?’ And it’s like, well, honestly, I just got into the bikini, I went to the beach, and then I got over it.”
