Kristen Cole, Forty Five Ten president and chief creative director of the Dallas-based retailer, says it was important to be near restaurants Bouchon Bakery, Wild Ink and Estinatoria Milos by heralded chefs Thomas Keller, Peter Jin and Costas Spiliadis. Kawi, which also shares the corridor, is a new concept by Momofuku.
“This is totally our customer,” Cole said. Some of those diners will already be familiar with Forty Five Ten. Keller’s Bouchon Bakery, for example, is on the same street as Forty Five Ten in Napa Valley.
