Aerial yoga classes are offered at Le Spa Fit to allow deeper postures that one may not get into with traditional yoga, instructor Daizha Petersma said.
Participants use a silk hammock hanging from the studio’s ceiling to stretch, tone and strengthen the body.

The estimated 2,000-square-foot studio at 4209 Colleyville Blvd., Ste. B, offers a variety of services, including cosmetic laser treatments, strength conditioning with personal trainers, yoga classes and orthopedic massage therapies.
For customers who are short on time but still want to work out, Le Spa Fit specializes in whole-body vibration therapy utilizing equipment that allows the body to reap numerous health benefits in minutes, Wood and Petersma said.
“The vibration causes our muscles to contract so it can increase the muscle activation and shorten our workouts,” Petersma said. “So a 15-minute program can be equivalent to an hour to an hour and a half at the gym. It’s pretty impressive.”
Wood said time is of the essence in everyone’s lives, and the alternative methods offered at the studio can be a solution to keeping one in optimal health while only dedicating a short amount of time.
“We both have lost 30-plus pounds and are in the best shape of our lives,” Wood said. “This is what we are sharing with everyone else [at Le Spa Fit]—our lifestyle.”
The duo said they love the community in which they live and work and are looking to not only expand their offerings at their current location, but to possibly open a location in Southlake in the future.
