A 35-year-old Antioch woman and her 10-year-old son, 8-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter all were in the car. Two of them were able to get out of the car immediately, according to early reports confirmed by the CHP. All four were taken to Sutter Delta Medical Center in Antioch, Odom said.

Investigators believe based on their initial assessment that the crash may have been caused because of low pressure in one of the tires, she said.
The crash backed up Highway 4 for more than a mile into Antioch, because two lanes were blocked, the CHP said. The agency did not issue a Sig Alert for severe traffic, and had the lanes cleared by 8 a.m. The crash was cleared by 8:48 a.m.
