Birmingham-based real estate acquisition and development firm Sanders Capital Partners announced it has acquired a Georgia shopping center.
The firm bought Cedartown Shopping Center, a 30,600-square-foot neighborhood retail center located in Cedartown, Ga.
, for $4 million.
Just off of Rome Highway, the center is home to 11 tenants, including Dollar Tree and Amedisys, as well as other national and local businesses.
“This asset is very well located not only for the Cedartown community but Polk County at large. These smaller markets reward a collection of value and convenience-oriented tenants that is strategically located,” Executive Vice President General Counsel Jackson Stewart said.
“With any market we are evaluating for investment, we look for centers that are proximate to several ‘funnels’ that draw customers from a larger area.”
Sanders Capital Partners has built its portfolio through acquisition and development in the South and Midwest.
