Saratoga Sheriff: Clifton Park woman hit person with beverage glass in Halfmoon, faces felony assault count

HALFMOON – A Clifton Park woman hit someone in the head with a beverage glass early Saturday in Halfmoon and now faces a felony assault charge, Saratoga County Sheriff‘s officials said.

Deidre Cowley, 37, of Sonat Road, Clifton Park, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree assault, a felony.

Cowley is accused of hitting a woman in the head with the beverage glass just after midnight at Trick Shots Billiards in Halfmoon, resulting in an injury, officials said.

Cowley was arraigned and released on her own recognizance to appear in Halfmoon Town Court later.
